Blackbeard's Ghost
On the anniversary of the death of Blackbeard the Pirate in 1718 we hold a cocktail competition challenging selected Wellington bars to create an appropriately themed cocktail on the spot.
The winning bar receives rum as a prize and their name on the trophy.

Red Rum Day
Anniversary of the first recorded pirate flag, the Jolie Roger, flown in 1700 by the French privateer turned pirate Emanuel Wynne: a skull and crossed bones with an hour glass.
- Red-coloured rum drinks to be served throughout the day.

International Talk Like a Pirate Day
An international celebration of all things pirate through the medium of diction. Dress up, party down, and get your 'Arrr's into it. Whatever the question the answer is probably with a capital "Rrrrr!"
'Victory Tot' - Trafalgar Day
Trafalgar Day is the celebration of the victory won by the Royal Navy, commanded by Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson, over the combined French and Spanish fleets at the Battle of Trafalgar on 21 October 1805.
It also marks the date of our annual release of a limited bottling of a barrel-aged rum to to mark said victory, S&O's Victory Tot
Black Tot Day
The date observed internationally marking the anniversary of the last official issuance of the rum ration to all hands of the Royal Navy. An excuse to drink more rum...
