About

LEARN THE SABRE

The modern Olympic sport of sabre is everything you could want in a sport. Sabre is highly athletic, it requires quick decisions, and rewards decisive actions. It is rich in history while also embracing the latest advances in the pursuit of sporting excellence. It is a sport for individuals that also like being part of a global family. And you can start your sabre career at any age.

CAPITAL SABRE is where you will find all the information needed to join clubs in the Wellington region. Find out where you can practice and who teaches the sabre near you.

But be warned; once you pick up the sabre,

it's quite possible you may never put

it down again.

WHAT YOU NEED TO START

Running and sabre have many points of similarity as physical activities.

Dress like you're going for a run, bring a water bottle, maybe a towel and you're ready to start.

Most clubs are happy to loan beginners equipment until they decide to buy their own so there's no need to splash out just to get started
